Windows may warn you — here's why, and what to do
SharpReply isn't code-signed yet — we're an early-stage product and haven't bought a signing certificate. So Windows and some antivirus tools show a caution prompt for apps they haven't seen many people run before. It's about the app being new, not about anything harmful in it. If you hit one of these, here's the fix.
“Windows protected your PC”
The blue SmartScreen box. Click More info, then the Run anyway button that appears — the installer starts normally.
Browser blocks the file
If it says the file “isn't commonly downloaded”, open your browser's downloads, click the ⋯ next to SharpReply, and choose Keep.
Antivirus removed it
Defender: open Virus & threat protection → Protection history, find SharpReply, and choose Allow / Restore. Other antivirus: restore it from Quarantine and add it to the allow-list.
