Windows may warn you. Here's why, and what to do
SharpReply isn't code-signed yet. We're early enough that we haven't bought a signing certificate, and Windows and some antivirus tools show a caution prompt for any app they haven't seen many people run before. The warning is about the app being new. If you hit one, here's how to get past it.
“Windows protected your PC”
The blue SmartScreen box. Click More info, then the Run anyway button that appears. The installer starts normally.
Browser blocks the file
If it says the file “isn't commonly downloaded”, open your browser's downloads, click the ⋯ next to SharpReply, and choose Keep.
Antivirus removed it
Defender: open Virus & threat protection → Protection history, find SharpReply, and choose Allow / Restore. Other antivirus: restore it from Quarantine and add it to the allow-list.
